An architect and interior designer by training, Jubin spent close to a decade in design practice before photography evolved from a parallel pursuit into his primary creative practice. That foundation continues to inform the way he sees and photographs space: with an instinctive understanding of proportion, materiality, light, detail and, importantly, the intent behind the design.
Over the past three and a half years, Jubin has photographed over 300 projects across residential architecture and interiors, hospitality, F&B, retail, workplaces and commercial environments, collaborating with architects, interior designers, hospitality groups, developers and brands across the country.
His approach moves beyond straightforward documentation. Each project is interpreted through light, composition and atmosphere to create images that are both an honest representation of the space and an elevated articulation of its character. Known for a distinctive interplay of natural light, dramatic frames, intimate vignettes and moments of whimsy, his photographs seek out the details and narratives that make a space memorable.
Jubin's background in architecture also gives him a keen understanding of the design and publishing ecosystem: what an architect wants to communicate, what a brand needs from an image, and what makes a project compelling editorially. This allows him to approach each commission not simply as a photographer, but as a visual collaborator invested in how the work is ultimately seen and remembered.
His photographs have been published across leading architecture, design and lifestyle publications including Architectural Digest, Vogue India, ELLE DECOR, Livingetc, Design Pataki and GoodHomes, among others.
When he isn't photographing spaces, Jubin remains perpetually interested in good art, thoughtful design, beautiful objects, good food, good dogs and meaningful conversations.
